Cheif Treaty Negotiator

Kitselas is currently seeking a Chief Treaty Negotiator who will lead the First Nation in all aspects of the current Treaty Process. Following the negotiation structure as agreed upon by Kitselas, Canada and the Province of British Columbia, negotiate the context and content of the agreements between the parties while maintaining the mandates of Kitselas Citizens.

Director Economic and Socio Development

The Director of Economic and Socio Development of the Kitselas First Nation (KFN), will be responsible for managing all economic development initiatives for KFN and overseeing the Education, Employment and Training and Social Development departments. Language Coordinator

The Language Coordinator working under the supervision of the Teacher, ensures the hosting and resourcing of regularly scheduled community engagement sessions to collect information towards developing a 3 year community language plan for the Band. This position will work in a team environment with a working group, to draft the plan. The coordinator is responsible for maintenance and asset management for this short-term project.

We are looking for someone to take on the role of General Manager for a six-month, full-time contract (with potential for extension) to help develop a small Indigenous owned and operated environmental services business in Terrace, BC. Our goal is to build a successful environmental services firm that provides long-term employment, training, and capacity development for members of Kitselas First Nation.
